About the workshop
Our family workshop has been engaged in the production of folk costumes and opanak for generations.
Mijomir Aleksić Kiri, who is a third-generation opančar, transferred his love for his work to his family.
Since its establishment in 1981, the Kiri workshop has been constantly preserving the tradition of folk costumes and making opanka using old crafts such as: opanka, embroidery, weaving, crocheting, Abadian craft… If you visit our workshop, you will have the opportunity to see the production process itself.
Due to the large volume of handmade folk costumes and opanka, we work in advance, so in our workshop we also have an exhibition space where you can see a large selection of our folk costumes from various regions.
We are proud that our workshop has become synonymous with folk costumes and opanka and that our handicrafts are worn all over the world.
